As demand for water rises and rainfall becomes less dependable, fewer Kenyans can rely only on rivers, springs or - for the lucky minority - a piped water supply. Many instead are turning to borehole water.

This sounds serious. Humanity needs to restrain its numbers and demands on nature.

THE SAD THING IS, THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO CONTRIBUTE THE LEAST TO ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE, AND YET, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SUFFER THE MOST.

Overpopulation and deforestation should be two of the greatest concerns for all of us. All things are interconnected and eventually we will feel it here too. Of course we have fracking and tar sand to destroy billions of gallons of water.
