An EXCELLENT summary, Cal....thanks!

Of course, the Republicans are eating their own teeth in fury and these developments are still in jeopardy.

But now we see the depth of resentment and resolve to turn this nation into a Republican theocracy.

We can't stop working toward the better nation we deserve and should be!

All wonderful things indeed. But lets not get caught up in the back patting because everyone of them could be lost by the end of 2014 or 2016 if progressives do not remain mobilized, moderate, visible and proactive. This is NOT the time to relax because the forces arrayed against all 9 of those "win's are not resting, they are planning their undoing. The billionaires who threw away hundreds of millions of dollars on this election past are fully prepare, and have SAID so, to keep spending until they get what they want. The attacks on basic freedoms will continue unabated. 2014 will be the first chance to unseat those teapublican governors who took office in 2010 and unseat them we must because they are still creating havoc at the local level, refusing to implement the HCA and continuing their war against unions, women and the LGBT community. They have lost none of their zeal and neither can we or this happy moment in time will become just that, a moment.

Pretty good. I would rather they made jobs available for me first because I was born here. And the mandatory health insurance is going to create homelessness.

Aboe all, there is still a Democrat in the White House. Without that, many initiatives would just hit a roadblock.
