About 1,000 protesters gathered in Albany, New York on Wednesday ahead of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's (D) annual state of the state address, in hopes of pressuring the governor to end the practice of hydraulic fracturing by natural gas drillers.

Governor Cuomo does seem to have a very aggressive "green" agenda maybe he will make strides for ending FRACKING.

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Stephen C. Webster. I certainly hope Gov. Cuomo listens to reason and bans fracking, then hopefully other "green" minded Governors will follow suit. Read and noted.

Think you might need more than 350 protestors.

I hope he makes the right decision. Please no fracking. Thank you.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. Seems like the Gov. has noticed the huge number of petitions, letters and phone calls he's been receiving against fracking. If he approves this horrible method, the 1000 citizens that protested may balloon to 10,000.....or, hopefully, more. I'd join them if I lived near, but am with them in spirit.

I hope Cuomo sticks up for the citizens and not big business. I'm tried of big business sacrificing human and animal health for their greedy profit.
