Thanks Cal for the link to the article. by Jeremy Hance. Extremely interesting article and hopefully climate change won't disseminate the herds. I do hope the researchers do further studies to increase our knowledge of the wild yak. Read an noted.

Great but this is Asia we're talking about and in asia no animal with a heartbeat survives there...eventually this beautifull animal will also be hunted. Asia is hell on earth for animals.

Need to protect ALL animals from man. If a country can't care for it's animals, it needs to give them away to a country that can care for it.
