Glaciers are melting faster than ever in the tropical Andes, warns a new study published in The Cryosphere, which puts the blame for vanishing glaciers squarely on climate change

Too many breathing bodies, heating up the planet. Nobody wants to say it. Agenda 21 proponents do.

Climate change is real.
It is unbeliveable the ignorance of stupid people who fail to belive it exists.

I hate this. Glad we saw the glaciers in NZ when we did, they are shrinking by the day too, and many have disappeared altogether. Horrible.

Thank You for this good article Cal.
I think the greatest worry will be the fresh water supplies in Peru and Bolivia, due to the faster melting of the glaciers. Not a good situation at all!

Thanks, Cal. When will our world leaders finally address climate change?! Apparently they all have no worries for themselves or their families. The destruction of Mother Earth and her inhabitants continues as greedy, soulless, multi-national corporations seek only their "bottom line." But, I'll continue to sign petitions and send letters for Greenpeace, Avaaz,, RAN....these are having some good effect in at least stalling some of the destruction and allowing information to be spread so we can gather more in protest.

We need to slow down climage change. Melting glaciers are a disaster for losing fresh water availability.

A change in attitude needs to take place before we can even begin to salvage and possibly heal this planet. Too many are living in the "LAND OF ME" which exists only in their own minds. There is simply not enough care. Sadly noted.
