My son's Chilean grandmother is descended from Mapuchi. I do not understand how people came to believe that they are separated from any thing on Earth, anyone, any animal, plant, atom....Dominating, plundering resources, caring nothing for others amounts to future misery.

Their government has more prejudices as well. Try being someone with a handicap in that country! Not only are their public hospitals TERRIBLE, education about those who are handicapped is not even considered, much less the lack of ramps on sidewalks and job accommodations.

Discrimination on the Mapuche people to such a degree, that many have been killed without the authorities deal or worry. The murder is not something abnormal Mapuches in Chile. Unfortunately it is hidden by both government responsibility as the media. Besides that everything is owned by their culture is brutally assaulted and robbed, then going to be part of Museums Mapuches outside the country itself. The apology argue that they do not take into account the Mapuche people is that they are segregated. How can they not do so? How? If their lives are in danger in most cases.

Murdering people is not the answer, this way the Mapuche people will loose and self destruct.
