Ten endangered pygmy elephants have been found dead in a reserve in Malaysia, with officials saying they may have been poisoned.

I guess now they can cut down the rain-forest as no one will need to protest to protect the elephants.
Hope that little baby is taken care of!
We don't really know whether they have in fact been poisoned and the first thing to do is to perform careful autopsies with toxicological testing and bacteriological and virus studies too.
If this is due to and epidemic, then other elephants may be in danger too.

This is dreadful.Chances are that it was more than likely a deliberate posioning.
The photo of the dead Mother and her baby is very sad.

I wish we could boycott whatever the villagers poisoned the elephants for, to show that if they kill elephants, they will actually lose business...

It's really difficult for me to read this story and I couldnt read it all It made me feel too upset and I don't want to cry right before I go to sleep, but I have, and still am anyway...........
