Your signature has been recorded. This is a good thing. I know for those who love the spot they are in it's hard, but for others they may welcome the opportunity to sell and be able to re-locate. Few will buy now in that area with it's history so the people are stuck there if they do want to move.

Some lands should never have been built upon in the first place, our shoreline was meant to be a give and take with the ocean and the elements and Zoning Boards, in their quest to gain more property taxes, have done a dis-service by allowing people to build there for both them and the ecosystems.

The cost of all of our insurances have gone up to absorb these continual flood losses by the building too close to or within areas that should of been left open to nature. I know in an area I had lived in back in New England this was done there, it really becomes the most sensible solution.
