Because of illness I wasn't able to attend, although I had anticipated it for weeks! So disappointed not to be a part of this rally --- my health wouldn't permit it -- but I wonder if that was even a rational excuse -- each action we take is so important to the cause! -- and the "cause" is only the actual salvation of the planet -- none of us has an excuse to allow the plutocrats to destroy the planet on our watch!

I'm so proud of all the grassroots activists who are willing to sacrifice their time, efforts and personal finances in order to draw attention to this very real issue!

S&N Please go to the 350 org link and send the president a letter asking him to stop the pipeline. This is so important!

I think there were mixed messages sent, by President Obama, for climate change in his speech. I guess we'll see what he brings, for that, in the future. signed & noted. thx Cal!

Very inspiring. I think this is a crux moment for the environmental movement and the future of life on Earth. If the President stops the Keystone XL, it will be a sign that we are ready to move in the right direction on the issue of climate change.

Noted. Get ready for the next rally set to take place on Earth Day, April 22. The focus will be DC again, of course, but if you check with Sierra Club or, you can find out if there's something local in your vicinity.
