That's terrible. South West Australia has some amazing forests; I remember doing a tree top walk there a few years ago and driving for hours through green, green woods. Such a pity to see beautiful places being destroyed.

These forests should be protected! Logging should be kept to a minimum, and certainly to sustainable levels, with replanting a requirement. Arsonists who start bush and forest fires should be put on programmes where they are involved in and learn about conservation and the environment..

It's a pity that all over the world the environment is under threat and we are generally powerless to halt the ravages of climate change, pests, natural disasters etc. Let's unite to combat and limit these threats.
