All through the Obama years, backers of the Affordable Care Act have lifted their spirits with a consistent refrain: Just you wait.

Nobody with a brain can imagine the Republicans saying ANYTHING positive about ANYTHING the President has done! Medical insurance companies were howling before they'd ever even READ it!

We've no idea whether or not we'll ''love'' it because we haven't seen it.

Just shows that a lot of political power is in totally irrational people's hands. The GOP seems to be made up of morons.

I'm looking forward to the day, no matter how far away, when we finally have universal, single payer health care.

After hearing how much their insurance premiums are going to rise next year, people won't be feeling the love.

Can we give it a chance?

Some do and some don't.
Some will and some won't.

Most regular, everyday Americans like it or would like it if they truly understood it. I'm still happy saving $130/year on birth control!! Woo Hoo!!! Birth control should always be free. It just makes sense.

Me?

I stay away from doctors.

Keeps me healthy.

If the government would educate people in the natural nutrition AND stop poisoning
our food, they could pay off that National Debt.

But what would the pharmaceutical companies do?

And what would the doctors do without their bribes,

Bah!

Obama care is going to totally bankrupt America and destroy it........it's far from just Health care --- read all the crap that Obama threw in with the document that most senators never bothered to read.......

Personally it is costing me more! I also see very bad budget implications in our school and property taxes all tied to health care costs that are skyrocketting. The only viable solution is a Medicare for all system with no loopholes or exceptions.

Ever? Don't think we have to wait the long with climate change.

The Medicare Modernization and Improvement Act, the one that brought us Part D, had a lot of unknowns in it too, and it's still being fine tuned. I just read that if a loaf of bread went up in price the way healthcare costs have then a loaf would cost $50.
There is opportunity galore to change and fix Obamacare as deemed necessary but why throw out the baby with the bathwater. The Clintons wanted to tackle healthcare in the early 90's but republicans in DC wouldn't even discuss it. because they had good healthcare insurance and could give a hoot about anyone else. .

How could a federal healthcare law be created, signed, without the states knowing before hand of their involvement? According to this article, Obama is getting little to no help from both parties.
