Between Palin taunting New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg over his war on tobacco and Texas Gov. Rick Perry boasting about his job-creation record, to Stewart the NRA confab seemed less like the meeting of a gun-rights group and more like the Conservative P

And the gun grabbers don't? It is not ok for one side to call the other site fear mongering when both side are. The anti-gunners want a disarmed America.

Nobody is trying to grab your guns and anyone who thinks that is a moron.

Actually, Vicky, I don't know what the NRA does, never been near a convention or a member, to my knowledge, but that IS what republican's always do. Deflect, lie, not stay on topic. Did even one of those fools KNOW what convention they were at? Or where? Talk about your off the wall comments. Nice to see Sarah is still a ditz but surprised she is still invited to anything, I suppose it is her love of hunting from airplanes? But then she didn't actually say anything about that. Rick Santorum is a big gun guy? Mr. religion himself? That's the problem with inviting politicians to a party, show them a microphone and they think they're at their own private press conference, if they forget to mention why they are actually there, well, we all know what kind of attention spans they have - Rick showed us, can't remember more than two questions at a time - not that he'll answer THOSE or anything, but still, it is a republican affliction, short term memory loss. They all have it.

NO one is trying do dis arm americans. Like they want you to believe Obama is doing. It is my belief that no citizen needs automatic weapons period not for anything...Ban all semi or automatic weapons to the public period. Hand guns will get the job done if someone breaks in your home u don't need to spray them with rounds. My Family has hunted always and never with any type of semi automatic weapon..

Love Jon Stewart's take on the NRA Convention. Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rick Perry, Wayne LaPierre --all under one roof! It should have taken place under "the big top," which would have been appropriate for this cavalcade of clowns.
