I'm so glad the next generation is getting involved, and hitting where it starts - the wallet - it's a strike at hypocrisy! Thanks Cal

I don't believe that CO2 emissions are driving climate-change, but on general principle, groups that condemn something should not invest in it.

Thanks for the good news. If everyone who is invested in dirty companies and fossil fuel to their money and invested it in clean energy businesses, the environment would be the winner and dirty companies would see a reduction in profits.

Noted. Excellent info by Naomi Klein. I'm so glad she named the groups that aren't beholden to dirty energy: Greenpeace,, Friends of the Earth, Rainforest Action Network, Oil Change International, & Climate Reality Project. National Resources Defense Council is halfway there. The Wildlife Conservation Society says they are divesting now. For me, Conservation International was particularly disturbing because Northrop Grumman is on its board. While it seems safe to probably sign petitions connected with the other groups: Ocean Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation Endowment, The Nature Conservancy & World Wildlife Fund U.S., I personally will not send them donations. It was also "interesting" to note that The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, as of Dec. 2012, had at least $958.6 Million invested in just 2 oil giants: ExxonMobil & BP.
Sierra Club now has a clear policy against investing in, or taking money from fossil fuel companies. Sierra Club Foundation is still in the process of drafting a full divestment policy.
