The Boy Scouts of America's national leadership will vote Thursday whether to allow openly gay Scouts in its ranks, a critical and emotionally charged moment for one of the nation's oldest youth organizations and its millions of members.

I hope that they would not have to make others learn about being GAY if they don't have to? Why should our children have to deal with this subject just because someone has made a personal decision for their own sexual preference? this is not the business of the BOY SCOUTS or any other Youth ORGANIZATION to deal with?

Just to try one more time to get people to understand.....!

Being gay is not something that one chooses. By the way, it isn't the people who want gays allowed that force the need to explain the "whole gay thing." It is people who insist on teaching their children there is something wrong with being who you are.

By the way some of the people who complain about the scouts allowing gays, are going to have to face the reality that their own child is gay, Do they want to risk having their children to find out they aren't equals or wanted. I can assure you that my parents didn't know I was gay when they taught me to think that gays were inferior.
