Groupers are real homebodies, and many have gotten along well with divers, showing friendly attitudes and recognition of familiar others.
When I was young and where I lived in intimacy with the reefs, grouper could grow to 500 lb. I don't feel well thinking about what humans do right now.

They're not groos looking. Big mouth bass, some people, and many other fish, look a lot like them
