Let's get this into alignment. Planned Parenthood was established as an organization to give women alternatives to an abortion - hence their name.
For the last 20 years, this horrible organization which this administration wants to keep pumping money into, has ben completely irresponsible , unethical in their purpose. This organization is flat out pro abortion as it is financially beneficial for them. They set up young girls to have abortions with clinics/doctors they are associate with, and they get a financial benefit.
This organization is a disgrace, yet, parenthood never enters the picture. This administation is well aware of this, but who cares except the taxpayer who keeps these places alive.

If men had the babies this would not be an issue. Moreover, men are typically the ones who abandon or divorce the mother of their children for a newer model wilfe, and they are also the ones who want to cut SNAP and other programs that help these mothers feed their children. Men need to stay out of women's healthcare. Men hav no business mandating a woman's morality until they can control themselves. The very idea of a man telling a woman what she may or may not do with her body is outrageous. I never would have considered an abortion as an option, but I believe every woman deserves to have her privacy respected.

Obviously, Alan, you've no real experience with Planned Parenthood and are merely spouting nonsense.

Planned Parenthood helps women manage their reproduction.....this includes contraception and, in the event of an unwanted pregnancy, they can help with terminations.

They also provide many other health services and even provide them to men.

Stop regurgitating the PAP those anti-women, anti-choice mobs feed you and do some research.

I shall donate an extra amount to both Planned Parenthood AND the ACLU....in YOUR NAME, Alan!

Thanks Cal for the link to the article by Mr. Richey. Good for Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. Read and noted.

Sometimes I think people are intentionally stupid. Planned Parent is exactly what the name says, a place to learn about how to plan a family, get some birth control measures for planning a family, and for goodness sake, a place for women and men to get screening and testing for medical related issues that have no insurance.

As for abortions, this seems to be the only thing republicans are of one mind about, making women's lives and choices their business.

I agree Pam that rant of Allan's has helped me decide to make a larger than normal donation. Good grief, use the breaks and double check that crap before you type it. Not one word is accurate, though accuracy and fact rarely interferes with republican regurgitation of misunderstood details. Allan, you sound like a Rush Limbaugh puppet.

Republicans, keep your hysteria and lies out of women's bodies.

This is more of an anti woman drive. Notice how all the new laws and bills have been against women. women in America better wake up before they find themselves back in the 1800's with no rights at all. Woman's body is her business. Religion is always at fault. Each religion wants more people to out do the other religions, so sick. WOMEN'S RIGHTS STAY!

A shower of green stars to you, Arielle! Be careful, though....too many facts and too much logic spoil the fun of those who just want to vomit garbage!

Thank you, ladies. It's really not that difficult to speak truth to the stupid people.

As I said, I made a double donation last night to Planned Parenthood and for added measure made one to NARAL.

Decisions about birth control belong solely within the choices made by each woman.

There is no room for debate, no room for a politicians opinion or in the case of the Governor of Iowa [Terry Bransted] no room in a civilized country for him to make decisions about abortion on a case by case basis. No abortion for any reason, including the life of the mother without his approval? Ship this troglodyte, back to the dark ages where he so desperately belongs. How dare you???

To the men that can not stay out of our bodies and fully discount the intellectual ability of women to decide about their own lives. Either stay out of our vaginas or pay the price. Sadly for these men, this is NOT the country of El Salvador, and women of the United States have heard enough of this feigned interest in life, yet unborn, for no real purpose other than a struggle to appeal to totally un-American voters. Americans believe in freedom, we believe that just as men, can and will make the best decisions for their own bodies, so do women. Stay out of our decisions about birth control, there is NO room for these discussions in country that beats it's chest about freedom.

SHOWERS OF GREEN STARS UPON YOU, DEE!

UNFORTUNATELY, I doubt very much that Alan Yorkowitz has lingered after VOMITING his VILE VENOM....but, I wish he could see this list.

And believe it.

But--as a realist, I understand that anti-choice, misogynistic fanatics can't bear to see any logical arguments against their plans for torture and punishment!

After all...it's a MAN'S WORLD....

Isn't it?

I already donate monthly to Planned Parenthood, ACLU and NARAL...but will check my budget to see if I can toss in some extra. I'm glad the fight is on, but so disappointed that we have to fight this AGAIN. Why can't people just let Roe v. Wade stand and protect the rights of women? I think it's designed to let the GOP off the hook for not addressing the other important issues of financial markets, as well as the 4th amendment. So many members of the GOP in Congress were well funded by PAC's connected with ALEC and Grover Norquist....better for them to keep THOSE conversations in the shadows. Fortunately, so many of us are multi-taskers. hee hee.
