With their islands devoid of rivers or streams, farmers in Antigua and Barbuda have been building dams and ponds for centuries, harvesting rainwater to irrigate their crops and provide drinking water for their livestock. -

Thank you for the sad news! We have to do something. I sign as many petitions as I can each day, but it's not enough. :( (n, p, t)

I dont think that there are many countries left in the world that are not threatened now It seems the world is heading for total disaster and who is really listening most people only seem to be interested in what time the next football match is on or the soap operas or a new mobile phone

noted thanks

I think most people feel helpless. Many without jobs are trying to raise families. Many families have only one adult and several children. They have to put food on the table while their jobs are at risk. When tension gets too high, something in the human brain turns off. We sort of numb out.

I'm single and retired. I get to talk to many people about Care2 and how we are trying to save the Earth. They take down the Care2 address. "Care2 as we Care enough 2 do something. It's the number 2."
Alone we can do almost nothing but together we can save our planet for our children and our grandchildren.
It seems that everyone I talk with is INERESTED and writes down or asks me to write "Care2 Petitions" so they will remember.

I can't go for believing in millions of active Care2 members but I do notice we seem to be getting a lot of new activists joining us.

An excellent article . Here in Ireland we have so much rain, like today, that it is difficult to imagine life without it.
