I have to agree with this After 20 weeks is far too late Its a properly formed baby then so it should be done well before this if has to happen

And how often do these late abortions happen? This is just one more attempt to whittle away at reproductive rights.

Watch....next they'll go for 12 weeks.

I use to belong to the Tea Party, because I believe in the US Constitution, but than I got one of their surveys to fillout and found out that they are against abortion, believe in using all our natural resources and believe in killing wolves and other wildlife. So of course I no longer belong. I decide to your animal groups instead that makes a lot more sense. Abortion is a woman's right. I wonder about women that are against abortions, are they just nuts or Bible brainwashed fools, in either case they are a shame on women, because they hurt women's right. women fought hard for those rights and I guess we better be prepared to start fighting hard to get them back again, for our kids futures.

Did you ever notice how the men in this issue out number the women, I guess these men have had babies. Tires i\of men thinking they run women's lives. Wake up ladies before your daughters want to know why you allowed their rights to be taken away.

There is a saying "You may eat your own words" which for those of you who feel the 20 weeks is too late to end a pregnancy....here is a scenario you may not have thought of, you, your sister, your mother, your daughter are expecting a baby who WILL either die upon or prior to birth or be born with a magnitude of chronic health issues discovered at 20 weeks or the life of the mother is at stake. Just remember what goes around comes around and Karma has a wicked sense of humor!

As usual, white men telling women what to do. They need to mind their own business. I do not want to see a situation where a woman dies because of these extreme rules put in place.

Those stupid idiots managed to get their way, didn't they? They get to call the shots on what is actually a private matter between a woman and her doctor. They have NO RIGHT. But llike the Supreme Court, they're doing exactly as they please, and I'd like to know how long we're going to let them get by with this garbage?

Great comments here ! I worked in a women's clinic for years, including abortion clinics, and the majority of women do not seek late term abortions , but when they do ~ there are plenty of good reasons, as some here have stated, including abrupt changes in personal circumstances, loss of work, domestic violence, etc. But even this is all beside the point ~ no women should ever have to explain why she chooses to have an abortion. If you are against abortion ~ don't have one. This is nothing but controlling, regressive and misogynistic agenda.

Obviously ignorant Texas is NOT the place for a woman to be.

I wouldn't make some of the above comments to loud around Philadelphia - we just convicted a so-called "late-term abortion provider" of murder. Some babies were actually born alive and were subsequently killed, and one patient/client lost her life due to unsafe follow-up procedures. So please be careful when voicing your "disgust."
