Huge quantities of the chemical hydrofluorocarbon-23 (HFC-23) are expected to be released into the atmosphere by China and India, which is nearly 15,000 times more damaging than carbon dioxide, according to the Environmental Investigation Agency.

The climate bomb is done ticking and is already exploding all around us. Expect the rate of climate change to accelerate. Conditions will continue to degrade. As the arctic and Greenland continue to thaw, the influx of fresh water into the Atlantic will disrupt the Gulf Stream and lead to increasingly unstable weather in the Northern Hemisphere. And, as the permafrost of the far North thaws, massive releases of methane hydrate are expected. Meanwhile, the increase of dark surface area on the planet(due to the loss of reflective polar surface)will increase the warming of the oceans. We need the Green New Deal now if we are to have any hope of moving our civilization away from dirty energy to clean energy and avoiding increasingly severe consequences of climate change.

Add the emissions caused by the HUGE livestock industry, which are totally undermining the efforts and savings made by the green energy movement....

With another 28%-40% more people by 2050, if 'we' don't change what 'we' eat .....

Vegan for health, the animals, the planet and mankind's future!

It is a horrifying possibility but I think it's a ruse to get more money from us. The amount of graft and corruption at the local and area levels knows no boundaries. It is a constant struggle for the Chinese federal authorities to police it.

Add to that the methane added by fracking, (leaking, 1000 Times worse than carbon), and the damage from the overheating of the earths core, and you have the perfect storm!
Noted, ty Cal.

But hey the important thing is that the 1% can get cheap slave labor in both countries. Their greed has blinded them to the reality that they have poisoned the very air that they have to breathe just as they have poisoned ours. I imagine in the future how someone from this time in history could make a future person who has to live underground or can't go outside without a mask, understand that this paper stuff called money was more important to humans than clean air to breathe.

There will be no way to make future generations (if there are any) understand our choices. Money has to stop being the "Reason" for anything. Money is going to get us all killed.
