Because of climate change, postcard-perfect lighthouses, parks, and seaside city blocks could soon be swallowed into the ocean.

Do you think we'll do something about this, or just chalk it up to "weather"!
Sad indeed - these losses come at such cost!

Wasn't aware that the San Francisco's Embarcadero was under threat.
I go to Embarcadero from time to time.
Thanks for the heads-up info.
Miami is one area I'm aware, the state of Florida is most likely to have lots of problems in the years to come.
Any area with an ocean view and seashore is likely to succumb to the rising sea levels around the world.

Ty, Cal.

These are just a few of the historical areas around the World that are under threat. With the way things are going here in America the only monuments and historical areas that will get saved are Wall Street and any of the Mega-Corps headquarters - maybe their CEO's homes...Of course, the GOP estates.

Well one land mark that will be lost to ocean rising is Washington,DC. Hopefully, the climate deniers will still have their heads in the sand and they will drown. Then we can replace them with people with their minds and eyes open.
