I'm very glad that Holder is moving on this. Without oversight from DC the only people voting in Texas will be the white middle class.

If the Republicans can compete on a fair playing field maybe they should look inward.

Somebody needs to do something...the red states are gleefully taking advantage of the Supreme Court's decision. This will be test case. And yeah Kit, too bad the GOP can't win fairly...if they didn't use their many devious tricks we'd probably not have any...

" panel of federal judges in 2012 found that the state's congressional redistricting map "was enacted with a discriminatory purpose" undercutting the power of black Democrats and diluting the voting power of a surging Latino population."

+++++++++++++++ Pretty darned BLATANT, aren't they?

While they're at it they should be reversing the illegal, non census year redistricting (gerrymandering) that gave the scumbag party utter control.

BTW, why isn't DeLay in prison yet?

Fat chance that Holder can accomplish anything in that god-forsaken country - I mean state - or whatever it pretends to be!

Supreme Court decisions no longer honored or accepted as law of the land. What next?

5 of the people sitting on today's US Suupreme Court deserve no honor. These are the guys that gave us Citizens United and we've been kaput and up sh*t creek ever since.

Kudos to Holder. Now fingers crossed Obama doesn't find some way to stop it. Noted with thanks.
