Personally, I'm against the idea of people drinking milk...we do NOT need it. Nature WEANS babies and we are not baby cows!

BUT...deregulation leads to nasty holding condition for the cattle, so I'll support that.

Pam's got it so right - cow milk was never for human consumption - don't drink it now - my children never drank it - and now I just like cheese now and then - and I love ice cream - but nothing I can't do without!

Deregulation is wrong.

No we do not need milk and we surely do not need them not to regulate the run off of manure into the rivers and streams. There are to many cows and other animals on earth because everyone is told how they need to eat meat. Lies and BS from the marketers who sold you all your ideas. GO VEGAN stop the pollution and rebuild mother earth naturally.

Whatever is best for the animals and the environment, I'm voting for. To hell with humans and their profits.

Noted. Personally, I think milk is for calves. I'm against the cruelty of taking calves from their mums in order to provide people with milk.

If we're talking factory farms you shouldn't be eating anything from them anyway. Factory farms are a major contributor to ocean acidity.

That's going to be some war to fight. But I so hope iwill be won by those who are fighting this atrocity. By the way, I had lunch with a friend of mine today, who gave me a cup of milk from grass-fed, free-roaming dairy cows---you know, like in the old days. That milk was delicious. I had actually forgotten what good milk tastes like and was thoroughly surprised.. To think that kids today will never taste milk the way it was meant to be tasted--or enjoy fried chicken the way it used to taste. Not unless we can throw these devils out of business and have kindness and good feed extended to farm animals once again.
