These congressional proposals will make employer-employee relations even worse than they already are.

Would applying for citizenship be asking too much? In the case farm workers, this would be their end. As citizens, they would be entitled to a fair salary, possibly be able to petition for health benefits.
I wonder how many farmers are for these proposals.

If a bill favors the poor one can count on the GOP to vote against it.
If a bill favors the rich one can count of the GOP to vote for it.
Of course, it is who can donate the most money to the campaigns. Strange morality.

The current bill passed by the Senate is a pork-heavy cash cow for corporate contractors to build a fence and supply more drones....the pathway to immigration in this bill is a joke---as is every single proposal put forth by the GOP. They don't really want legal immigration to pass. Whereas before, they thought this would help get them a large portion of Hispanic voters, the latest is that they decided against this after all. So, all the bills they write will only be creating an ongoing system of revenue for the "Military-Industrial-Immigration-Corporate Complex."

Wonderful, America goes back to Slavery...The GOP/TP don't think they need Hispanic votes because they got the redistricting okay they needed. Now be very wary of what they're doing - it's all smoke and mirrors.
Noted with disgust and anger. Thank you.

there is no reason to give criminals the right to stay here. they broke the law and we shouldn't reward them.
they should be paying fines in the 10's of thousands plus jail time then sent back home.

Thank you for the article and all of the information, I do not put anything pass those republicans in congress They have no heart and soul, They have signed them both away to the puppet master grover norquist, and the money teabaggers koch. brothers and carl rove. They do not care who they hurt as long as it gets more money and power in their pockets....period.

Before they can take their seats in congress every elected politician should be required to work in the fields for a month. They might learn something about humanity and empathy.

When I was in the Army stationed temporarily at Yakima (WN) Firing Center, I worked n my spare time picking apples and hops to supplement my $125 monthly pay. It's a damn sight harder than being a congressman.
