The State Department has given the public just 45 days to speak their mind on the Keystone XL pipeline. We need to use that time to come together and say once and for all: "NO" to Keystone XL.

We are worried about the chemical warfare on Syria - but where is the outcry of the similar warfare perpetrated on us by an enemy far larger and far more dangerous to more people worldwide!
Thanks Cal

Thank you for telling the State Department, once and for all:
Say NO to the Keystone XL pipeline.

Noted. Signed. It is of grave concern that this State Department has a. repeatedly had closed door meetings with TransCanada executives regarding the pipeline; b. contracted ERM, a subsidiary of TransCanada, to compile the Environmental Impact Statement on the Keystone XL pipeline; and c. accepted its findings that the Keystone XL pipeline would cause "no significant impact." All this as the President promotes an "all of the above" energy policy that keeps this nation dependent on #dirtyenergy and practices, including coal and mountaintop removal; natural gas and #fracking; oil and deep sea drilling; and tar sands oil, shipped by pipeline and rail across this nation. #Obama does not appear to be getting the message: #NOKXL

We need to do more to aid the #tarsandsblockade, because the blockaders are buying us all time while we figure out how to get our leaders to return to sanity and to fight climate change. #climatechanged

No to this already.... put some time and energy toward developing better technologies for energy and transportation... or at least dig up those that have been buried and suppressed over the years... if we spent half as much time and effort on this as we do arguing about disastrous policies and practices like this pipeline, the world may begin to resemble a better place...
Check out this program from 2005 ... Scientific American Frontiers with Alan Alda
the show is titled Hydrogen hopes
The inventor/Scientist developed a hydrogen disk/puck that is basically snapped into the fuel area in a totally safe fashion... we should be able to buy these today!!! this show was from seven years ago how many times have we even heard about this... great show...

Stan and Iris Ovshinsky... look it up...
