As two Colorado state senators who supported gun control seek to fend off a recall drive, national figures - including Mayor Bloomberg and the NRA - have gotten involved and donated money.

Guess I'm in good company....because I DONATED MONEY, TOO!

Since when does the NRA get to run the country, fighting against reasonable gun control? Since when does the NRA get to fight legislation which will undoubtedly help save the endangered California condor--simply because the NRA has the ''right'' to use lead bullets?

I hate guns and people who think they're necessary - but - who am I? - just a dumb-ass fool who's never held a gun and hate anyone who has - including the cops - ohh well!

Noted. I'll stick by what lee (above) said. Australia & Great Britain were both able to ban guns in a pretty short period of time. From what I read & watch, the people in those countries are happy about the ban....and the political fallout was definitely worth the result.

Gee, thanks, Kit.
Bloomberg and Broad donated their money on the CORRECT side, in favor of the Senators, as have I (although much, much, much less). And despite the fact that Senator Morse hails from Colorado Springs, he is not my Senator, the Springs being big enough for 2 to 4 Senators. So I can't vote.

The two Senators voted the will of their constituents instead of knuckling under to the NRA and their Republican (mostly) lackeys.

Pam is asking some very profound questions, and I hope the voters involved will tell the NRA to shove it!
What the hell are the Koch boys doing there? What is their agenda? Are they playing "Rub my back, and I'll rub yours" with the NRA?
