Good article with additional links for information. I guess no one is surprised to read this but sickened to know what people are dealing with day after day. Shelling of towns, torture, savage murders and probably rape. No one is holding anyone accountable for these crimes against humanity. Thanks Cal.

Really, how surprising. The US can't even prevent soldiers from raping and we are surprised when others can't prevent soldiers from doing bad things. And who exactly has oversight of the rebel forces?

All the more reason to stay the heck out of it. If we help the rebels we are helping terrorist.

According to the French journalist who remained imprisoned ifor 2 months in Syria, Al Assad was not responsible for the chemical bombs.

Noted. I agree that to get involved in this would just be stupid for the U.S. This must have international cooperation. The final report from the U.N. inspectors is due next week. Seems there are "no sides to take" in this muddled mess.....other than humanitarian aid brought in by international groups---not troops.

Just what I always thought too. One side is as bad as the other and there will be a lot more heartache before it's over (if it is ever over).

As in all wars crimes are committed by both sides.

We need to spend federal dollars on humanitarian aid, not bombs!
