I think this makes sense. Fewer unlicensed drivers on the roads and California collects the fees for a license.

Works for me. I think this is one of the more common sense approaches to this issue. Thanks for the article, Cal.

No borders, no country, no Bill of Rights.

Just like the billionaire globalist banksters want.

You people are so easy to fool.

But will this allow people from other states to get a second license to be used on for collecting points for traffic violations? And then "Alejo said he would prefer California's licenses to be more discreet, with small wording on the back indicating that the license was not to be used for identification purposes." which makes it?

This is awesome! Who pays for their car insurance? Why, of course, the taxpayers in California! What if they fail the eye exam required to get a license? Why, of course, the taxpayers in California will...drum them glasses and contacts! Can't speak English and can't read the signs on the roads and freeways? No problem! The state of California will change all of them from English to Spanish and require Americans to speak Spanish! What about car seats for their children? No problem...the taxpayers will make sure they have car seats! While they are at it they should give all illegals with their new driver's licenses $500.00 a month for gasoline for their cars and another $200.00 a month to pay the tolls!

California is the poster child for how to bankrupt a state while pushing the taxpayers to relocate in Nevada, Arizona and Colorado! Make room for the law breakers....the illegals.....who refuse to do the necessary paperwork to become a taxpaying, law abiding citizen of the United States!!

This is rich....

I can't figure out why illegals can come in and get all kinds of things given to them. Send them back home. They are ILLEGALS, We have way too much welfare mooches here already!

You've got that right, Debbie! We need to be taking better care of AMERICAN CITIZENS. Michelle Obama in one of her empty speeches stated that she was going to do great things for our veterans. There's such a back log of veterans who have applied for benefits that it will be more than a year before their paperwork is processed. Yet, yet yet.....we want to FAST TRACK the illegals to free benefits while they take the jobs away from tax paying Americans.

This article is absurd and another ridiculous "feel good vote" when there is no money to pay for it. Cities and towns in California are busted financially. They can't fund pensions and yet ...... here they go again....they want to pile on more entitlements.

California needs to become a country not a state.

Every American who agrees with this needs to give their job or income to an illegal alien like 10 million Americans have already been forced to do.

I'm undecided on this one although I tend to agree with Diane and Timothy on this issue.

There comes a time, hopefully, soon, with the state of California, needs to stand alone. The liberal mindset in that state is such that they never learn from their mistakes and consequently the taxpayers have to make the hard move or stay because the taxes are too high and many are sitting back knowing that when it is time for their retirement the funds will be depleted because of their "feel good anything goes" vote. No common sense is applied in California, IMO. It's simple math: revenue in and revenue out.....but when you have hundreds moving out of California because they are tired of being tax raped to help illegals you soon run out of taxpaying citizens.....and that translates into bankruptcy and when that happens California will turn to the American taxpayers to bail them out. Stupidity should never be rewarded especially when it is repeated over and over again.

Numbers USA is an awesome organization Timothy!! They KNOW what's going on!!

Bravo Diane! You said it all and I agree totally with everything you said! All true! The feel good vote will come up and bite California in the a** and then people will look at each other with this deer in the headlights stare and wonder what the hell happened!! Duhhhhhhhhhhhh....common sense does not occur in California from what I have seen over the years! I can bet most people know somebody....who has moved out of California because of the illegals, taxes, and suckers who just don't get it!
