Maybe when half the world has to move to the moon because of flooding, or fires, or hurricanes, perhaps *then* then people in power will pay attention to climate change! Of course, by then the only constituents they'll have left are the ones they don't especially want--the ones who couldn't afford to go offplanet (and certainly couldn't afford to finance a politician's vacation)!

An exaggeration? Perhaps. But it get the point across.
