There are a number of half truths here - if one considers Wall St. as economic terrorism, and our internal terrorist group the NRA and our condemnation of whistle blowers - he is absolutely correct, our security systems have run amok - so more power to him - we can't wave the "moral" flag this time!

Well, not entirely wrong. One just has to look at the domestic terrorists in Congress who are obstructing the federal government from conducting its business.

If you really think about it, Morales is speaking some truth. There are plenty of extremist groups in the United States. The US accuses whistleblowers of being spies, And, people with a conscience, who care about humanity... are traitors! My goodness, what has this country turned into?

As an expatriate American living in South America, I can't argue with Presidente Morales' logic. He is a great leader of his people and has held onto office longer than any Bolivian President in the past five or so years. Prior to that, the position was like a revolving door. He is of his country's indigenous people and is their hero.

Is this the same Bolivia that took in Nazis after the war?

They need to stop blaming and pointing fingers at each other and get along. Thanks for sharing, Cal.

Cono, Evo Morales is speaking "la verdad" the truth. But the terrorist he is talking about are of no threat to him or his country. The terrorist are home grown and threaten our democracy. The GOP and the trash baggers are Americas cancer and if we do not vote da bums out the cancer is going to destroy the USA.

I am afraid we can find terrorists all over the globe, and not just in the US.

The US has consistently pursued an illegal and aggressive policy of economic and political harassment of President Morales and the people of Bolivia. It comes as no surprise that the US is arming, funding, and harboring groups committed to using violence to destabilize Bolivia.

So the Bolivian President says that he and other "anti-capitalist" Presidents of other nations aren't "safe" here in the U.S.? Odd, I don't recall any such foreign Presidents being physically attacked while on U.S. soil. And Sr. Morales appears to still be alive and well. But if he feels unsafe, then he should definitely choose not to cross our borders again - I doubt he'll be missed by many here.

And since no specifics were given in the article about the terrorists we're supposedly "harboring" in the U.S., I think I'll take his words with a grain of salt. Oh, wait....we're not supposed to use the word "terrorists" any more, are we? How politically-incorrect of you, Mr. President.

Noted. I agree that Morales is just telling it like it is, and agree with so many of the comments above. We have grown into the Empire we always feared, sticking our noses into every other country's business. Our alphabet soup of spy agencies has orchestrated so many coups in the past several decades that we are now just a monster. There is an international cabal of banksters that is unable to secure the compliance of a few countries that they would like to get their grubby little paws on; and these countries have been "targeted" by the U.S.
And, don't forget the T.P.P. that is still being discusses behind closed doors--a huge detriment to the 99% if passed. Countries that don't sign up aren't just being ignored. The drones are another messy little topic---with so many innocent civilians already killed from above, including children. While the spy agencies are busy targeting the electronic communications of all, we wonder "for what purpose".....when the Boston bombers and recent murders at the Navy shipyard aren't stopped before they occur.
And, all this is happening with the funds from our own tax dollars. I object!

Allan Yorkowitz: Hate to tell you but the country that took in the most Nazis after WWII was The U.S.!
AND The U.S. has conducted MAJOR terrorist activities in South America in an attempt to destabilize countries that would not cooperate with Big Oil. This included Bolivia the U.s. staged a military Coup to install a more U.S. (Oil company.....) friendly General René Barrientos. Barrientos then brutally put down the peasant uprising that followed. Peasants revolted because Barrientos was NOT the leader the people of Bolivia chose. He was a U.S., C.I.A. installed dictator. The revolt was brutally crushed by by the CIA and U.S. Special Forces. The U.S. also aided coup attempts in Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador, as well as successful coup in Honduras. Not to mention tnhe brutality that the U.S. is responsible for in El Salvador. The U.S. has NEVER been a friend to South America. We swindled and cheated them out of their oil resources and when they protested we bombed their grass hut villages with napalm, overthrew their governments, destroyed their economies and murdered their children. And thanks to our "Media" the only people in the whole world that do NOT know this is U.S. citizens.
