What a sad, bizarre waste of human intelligence to create such a thing.

I agree with Allan, someone has enough knowledge and skill to come up with this bizarre drug. That is a waste of intellect, that could, should be used constructively. I hope there are warnings out there for those who might think that trying this couldn't hurt.

It's hard to know what to say to this story. As incredulous as it is, it is still a self-inflicted wound, though one has to wonder if those injecting it know in advance what will happen. I don't normally think it a good use of time or money to chase and penalize drug users, freedom of choice, free will, applies. Regardless my opinion. Which is that using drugs, apart from pot, is evidence of clinical psychiatric problems in the sense of why would a healthy person do such a thing to themselves? I know many people are unknowingly or unwillingly addicted particularly in the sex trafficking trade. So my ire is essentially reserved for pushers, dealers, those who know full well what they are doing is wrong and harmful to other people and do it anyway, for money. Which, for me, puts them in the same camp as the Koch boys who do what they do for money even though they know what they do causes irreparable harm to their fellow humans, and the planet we all share. But this drug, is so harmful, I almost think special penalties need be conceived and used for dealers of it. Giving something to someone, selling it to them, knowing it will kill them is manslaughter at best and murder at worst. There's no maybe here, no it will do this to some but not all, no gambling with life, because the drug is so deadly. People who do such things to other people for money are the lowest form of life on earth. And should be treated accordingly by the legal system.

I received just yesterday from a friend an article about this Krokodil. It was very graphic, enough to make a person sick. It did come with a warning for the weak of stomach. Thanks, Cal for not posting the pictures.

Know it isn't very compassionate of me, but I do hope my ex tries it. His body will then rot to match his warped mind...sorry folks.

It says "it's hard to kick the habit once hooked" but it doesn't sound like you will be hooked more than 3 years (" life expectancy is two to three years).

This is like the way Temazepam was used in the 1990's and it was quite common to see drug users with missing limbs and worse. It does beg the question, why anyone would inject stuff like that into them?

This is so horrendous! The people who make and sell this stuff are not human.

Sadly, june t, these people who sell this toxin are all too human, representing the dark side and the negative aspects of humanity, they are the lowest of the low on the evolution scale.

This is a frightening new addiction. Sad to think that there will be even more like this developed in the future.

Sue H...why and who could create this killer? Profit is why, sociopaths are who.
