According to the article:

"Medical personnel said they had been regularly harassed by government security forces, through kidnapping and by the shelling of medical centers. The regime considers transporting medicine and medical equipment to civilians and rebels within liberated areas to be an act of terrorism punishable by death or death under torture."

If Assad's regime considers transporting medicine and medical equipment to civilians and rebels to be an act of terrorism, what would they call the horrific act of gassing one's own countrymen --including children?

I recall reading another article that a 14 year old boy was now delivering babies, he learned from an adult and he has had to do this in the dark without lights even. When he grows up he said, if he does, he wants to become a Doctor.

The USA spoke of dropping missiles in, why can't medical supplies be dropped in? Seems like something could be done.
