The poor Haitians! How much more can they take? With their unfortunate history of cyclones, hurricanes, tropical storms, torrential rains, floods and earthquakes, something preventable should have been prevented. And, since cholera is treatable, the appropriate treatment should have been made available and administered immediately!

This really is a crime against the Haitians. I agree with Susanne, appropriate treatment should have been made available and administered.

When a lack of sanitation on a military base infects the water-supply, those responsible for the breach of declared sanitation-standards should be held responsible. If I recall correctly, it came from the Pakistani troops' area. The national government involved will not provide compensation, but the U..N. organization should be held accountable for statements made, intended to lead investigations away from what turned out to be the real source of the outbreak, without due diligence.

The useless UN must be held accountable. Stupidity doesn't count & Diplomatic Immunity is not an excuse!
