What an amazing young woman! Even after being shot and nearly losing her life, she hasn't lost her resolve. So who has more courage? Members of the Taliban who shoot people who say things contrary to their ignorant and outdated beliefs, or a young woman who defies them? Sometimes words are more powerful than bullets. Without a gun or a bomb or any type of weapon of war, Malala has proven that she has more courage and intelligence than the entire lot of deranged men who make up the Taliban.

This young girl is an inspiration to us all even in the face of such and intimidation violence she has never once wavered in her mission.

What an amazing young woman! Though I was sad that she did not win the Noble Peace Prize, I do not cut her out she has a long way to go. My bet is that she will go far.

She doesn't need a Nobel Prize to be an inspiration. Besides, she's only a teenager, her time may still come.

Noted. Thanks so much for posting, Cal.
She is very brave and knowledgeable for someone her age. I also saw her Daily Show interview and was so impressed! Do watch if you have the time. Thanks for mentioning it, Jim. (There are 3 portions of "extended" interviews).

I wish this young girl all the success in the world. Sadly, the only woman leader Pakistan had was murdered. This young gil might achieve more by leaving Pakistan , get an education, and continue her work outside outside the country- if only for safety reasons.

Taliban's biggest defeat, a young girl defeated them without firing a shot., she took a bullet instead and still won. Maybe this was the power of God. and for a reason.
