We buy organic produce as well to avoid contributing to the use of harmful pesticides such as the ones endangering these crocs.

Thank you for sharing this. It makes me sad to think about all of the destruction which comes from the quest for so called perfect food.

Chemicals sprayed on bananas to control pests and disease are making their way into the bodies of the emaciated crocodiles who live near banana plantations in Costa Rica. A new study shows that pesticides even on the inedible skins of bananas, still affect the bananas.
I buy all organic now. Noted and signed, and thank you for sharing Cal.

I usually buy organic bananas. I buy them from the reduced bin usually at the food co-op I shop at and sometimes they have only regular. 90% of the time I buy organic and will certainly think about just buying non reduced organic if there are no others. If it comes down to saving some money on bananas and helping alligators I think the alligators win. I did not know this before.

I read a Care2 article that said our oceans are devastated of life.

The few life forms that are left in the oceans must be sick and dying with grief.

Poison is no longer necessary to destroy the pulsating beauty once called ocean.

But can it live again?
