Since 1990, more than 275 people have suffered attacks from captive primates. With the majority being children, many victims contract disease, require surgery, and even die after these incidents. The captive primates, often frightened and ill cared for,

a subject I feel VERY strong about - every WILD animal should remain just that, WILD.....in his own habitat and familiar environment - it is his RIGHT....

I wonder if there are enough sanctuaries for them to go to...if the public were to give them all up..

Very worthy - people only keep wild animals as a form of "bling" to announce their wealth. It is a sick practice and should be stopped.

Noted and signed. These animals are literally being kidnapped from their habitat and held hostage in a human home. It is simply cruel and unethical. Thank you Cal for sharing.

THANX CAL, ABSOLUTELY DONE ! XXXXX

IF ONLY, AMERICA HAD FOLLOWED US AUSSIES FOR A CHANGE, ;
WE HAVE NO WILD EXOTICS, OTHER THAN SPECIALLY LICENCED,
SNAKES & LIZARDS, IN OUR COUNTRY, ;

( YEP, THERE ARE A FEW MAD/CRAZY AUSSIES WHO THINK, THOSE
CREATURES ARE CYOOOT !!! EEWWWW ! YUK ! SHUDDER !)

WAIT A MIN, I TELL A LIE, NOT ON PURPOSE, ;
FOR MANY YRS, THERE HAVE BEEN RUMOURED SIGHTINGS, OF A
LARGE BLACK KITTEH, (SOME HAVE SAID LIKE A BLACK PANTHER)
ROAMING THE EASTERN STATES, TAKING DOWN LAMBS & FAWNS !

SOOO, SOMEONE, COULD HAVE DISOBEYED THE LAW BACK IN THE
EARLY DAYS OF COLONIZATION, ; OR, AS I THINK, IT'S ONE OF THE
FERAL KITTEHS, WHO HAS GROWN TO OUTDO HIS ANCESTORS, BY
AN AWFUL LOT, IN SIZE & WEIGHT !

AUSSIE FERAL KITTEHS ARE QUITE LARGE THESE DAYS & VERY
FEROCIOUS, AS THEY ARE MANY, MANY, GENERATIONS AWAY, FROM
LIVING IN HARMONY WITH HUMANS !!!

HAVING SOOO MANY YOUNG KANGAROOS & ROCK WALLABIES,
TO EAT, AS WELL AS THE RABBITS & MICE, THE ODD LAMB OR
FAWN, HERE & THERE & WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE, HAS HELPED
THEM TO GROW, ; I SUSPECT, IF UR NOT OVER A CERTAIN BODY
WEIGHT, OUT THERE IN THE WILDS, OF THE OUTBACK, THEN U
JUST DON'T SURVIVE, WHICH LEAVES BIGGER BODIED, HEAVIER
KITTEHS, BREEDING WITH BIGGER BODIED, HEAVIER KITTEHS
& WALAH, "CRIKEY, THAT'S A HUGE FERAL KITTEH" !!!

MAYB ONE DAY WE WILL FIND THIS *BLACK PANTHER* & SOLVE
THE MYSTERY, ;
SO FAR, BLURRY, LONG DISTANCE PHOTOS ARE NOT
CONVINCING ENOUGH !
SOME OF THE EYE WITNESS ACCOUNTS SOUND TRU, BUT, IF THEY
HAVE NEVER SEEN AN OUTBACK FERAL KITTEH, THEY WILL ASSUME
IT'S AN EXOTIC, AS THAT'S ALL THEY HAVE IN THEIR MEMORY !

OK, ENOUGH *WAFFLIN ON*, FROM ME,

BAD EYES=BIG TYPE
