I couldn't agree more with the sentiments of the article, but Big Oil will screw every last cent out of their dirty product regardless of the environmental impacts, before they consider making the necessary capital investments to produce clean energy. In the meantime we all suffer.

Once again, this proves to me that we don't matter. To our governments, big oil and their wealthy shareholders we are just grist for the mill, cannon fodder. We are expendable, as are our are families, their health and all we hold dear, so long as these greedy pricks keep making even MORE money.
