Thanks Cal just had to have a talk to my husband about a book called the Land Grabbers this is happening all over the world. Wet lands are just going to disappear from many countries. Power stations, sugar plantation, palm oil and on and on. Why no government will speak up, too much money. We are world gone mad.

Terrible! Coal plants shouldn't set up shop where there are lots of trees. It's wrong. Thanks for sharing, Cal.

India has many problems right now, including overpopulation, loss of habitat and wildlife. Not to mention children allowed to wed because of religion gone way amuck. The abuse and outright torture of anumals in the name of religion. Then there's water already polluted and land poisoned. Since it is a poorer country, the people haven't been able to afford to keep up with modern electricity and sewage, so I do understand. But Big Coal is taking advantage of this to further their pollution of land, air and water, not to mention the people. Look at China and their coal burning??

Tragic----mangroves are so important for baby fish and shielding land from horrible storms.
