He is twisted! I hope karma knocks on his door immediately. He needs to experience homelessness to understand the harm he inflicted on those who have nothing. Thank you for exposing this thug! (n, p, t)

Someone needs to smash him with a sledgehammer. If the state is offering one way tickets off the island to homeless people, I really don't want to go spend my money there. Hope a lot of other people have the same reaction. Jerks.

I'll never go to Hawaii again.

Frances, the one doing this, IS the law.

Agree with everyone here, and good idea Debbie!

Thanks Cal...read this in the non-msm news.

This disgusting individual needs to be himself taken off the streets before he kills someone. To show this amount of violence towards unfortunate homeless people displays an attitude of diminished mentality. He should be locked up in a secure unit out of harms way.

Assault by Politician should be a Felony!:( Hawaii should deport him - maybe to Alaska, they'll take anybody!

Why did they include a demo on "how you too can disable a shopping cart for wannabe vigilantes?
(I usually end up getting the wonky wheeled ones in the grocery store..guess he got to it first).
So he thinks a smashed cart is creating less trash? Weird idea of ascetics.
Hawaii is really expensive to live in, so how did the homeless get there in the first place..swim? Turn of bad luck, economy, employment..it could happen to anyone and they are stuck...not like they can take a bus to another state.
Throw this idiot into a volcano, maybe the gods will be satisfied and prosperity will come to the homeless. Win win situation.

Noted. This man is a bully who picks on one of the least able group to defend themselves. He should be charged and taken off the streets.

This is insane, absolutely outrageous and disgraceful! As if destroying someone's property is going to make it any easier for them to find cheap, affordable accommodation, employment etc etc. Not only are his actions incredibly vindictive and cruel, they are incredibly senseless. The guy's a moron. How the hell did he get elected?

This man clearly has too much time on his hands, what a shame that he doesn't put his efforts toward helping those unfortunate enough to be homeless rather that make their already difficult lives even harder. Maybe he should remember 'there but for the grace of God ....'.

Wow, a Democrat acting like a bully TeaBagging Brown shirt. Every barrel has it's rotten apple. Instead of doing his job, he wastes tax dollars destroying perfectly good shopping carts. In my book that's being incompetent and reasons for a recall. What a cretin.
