First Nations schools are chronically underfunded. As a result, they face serious health concerns such as high carbon dioxide levels, black mould contamination, rodent infestations, sewage fumes and unheated classrooms.

I just read an article that stated "The oil sands industry has nation-wide benefits. According to the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI), almost every community in Canada has been touched by oil sands development through the stimulating impact it has on job creation and economic growth."

My question for Stephen Harper: If the information quoted above is true, why are First Nations schools chronically underfunded? Why are they facing serious health concerns such as high carbon dioxide levels, black mold contamination, rodent infestations, sewage fumes and unheated classrooms? The members of the First Nations are the first people to be displaced and the last people to benefit.

As long as you won't stop violating the pristine beauty and purity of your country and won't stop displacing those who are native to the land you violate, at least distribute the wealth equitably.

Gladly signed and noted.

Let's be honest!

No nation does anything for someone else without a reason, in most cases, although we now, have a President who is trying to break that tradition.
