The United States is the only country marring the good works of a UN resolution on the right to safe drinking water and sanitation.

The US has once again caved into the demands of their friends in the fracking business and oil companies. They have no conscience when it comes to peoples health. They would rather have people risk their health by drinking polluted water than take the risk of losing a quick buck.

Noted. The US can't easily allow privatization of water to Nestlé and other Corporations if it decides water is a basic human right. And Fracking is a huge problem to fresh water.

Michael, Nestlé's is internationally trying to corner water in order to sell at a profit.
At least one of those is kind of old, but that just substantiates that this has been going on for a while.

And speaking of old, there is the old Latin proverb "Aqua optimum est." It doesn't just mean "Water is best" - if it did, it would be "optima," not "optimum." It means "Water is THE BEST THING."
