You see sometimes these pictures around Toronto about missing young Asian men. I've often wondered whether that's where they wind up; in some terrorist training camp? If and when these young men return to their point of origin in Canada or the US or Europe they could very well become part of a larger problem. The imams allowed into the US prison are Wahabbis who the Bush administration didn't vet properly. 80% of all mosques are funded by Saudi dollars and the Saudis are the largest financial supporter of the Wahabbis. After a mosque is established then the extremist recruiters in the form of imams and mullahs show up and begin to proselytize.
The problem isn't from external, foreign terrorists it's from the ones that are homegrown; alienated by societal biases and a lack economic opportunities. Just some food for thought and consideration.

Local recruitment is a less traceable way of inserting terrorists into a population, rather than sending foreigners into a target country. Border control is less likely to query citizens on their return from overseas than people entering the country, particularly from suspect areas.

The recruited can then remain dormant, i.e. form sleeper cells, until a campaign starts and targets are identified. This is the way of the Fifth Column...., sounds paranoid, but unfortunately the risks are real and have been demonstrated in the past.

It doesn't surprise me -- there are organizations all over the U.S. recruiting for activities that many others wouldn't support. What do you think "Gang" affiliation is about? When my son refused to join - he was harassed and threatened until we moved to another part of town. That's part of the price we pay for having a "free" society. The interesting debate is where do we draw the line.

If this is true, what is the law doing about it? Or the FBI or the CIA? Isn't that their job? And Kamia, the line is drawn if and when there are attacks on the so-called free society, especially in this country. However, if there are terrorist training grounds here, they need to be dismantled and the perpetrators deported. OR, if terrorist acts are committed here, they need to be done in. Our freedom is important to us, but one has to work determinedly at it. Terrorists have no business here..

For example.. 90 % of the immigrants on boats moving into Australia that I have seen are well muscled healthy military aged men.. who live in threatening contempt for their host Gov't. once they are carded.
ALL camps in U.S should be removed by militia in each state tomorrow if possible.. we shall see which way Obama responds then... I believe he is like a dual citizen .. one part is muslim.. you cannot serve 2 masters Mr. Obama.... How far will the Generals, Admirals etc. bend before they say no more... NO muslim islam in armed forces.....stop being seduced by their lies..

If the west didn't unearth petroleum the Saudis would never have got so rich, and their continuous dependence on it, have made their Saudis rich and arrogant, able to foist their medieval brand of Islam on the world.

US must take a lot of the blame, their foreign policy is lop sided, it's what suits them, they have encouraged Saudi Arabia, being their bosom buddy ignoring the human right record, the worst patriarchal govt. suppression of women's and migrant rights.
