Following the Dark Money Would Be Easier If This Goverment Agency Did Its Job

Following the dark money isn't any easier when timid or dysfunctional watchdogs plainly fail to do their jobs--take the Federal communications Commission (FCC) for example.

My sex life is between me and the NSA. Does anyone really think we are safer with our phones calls and Internet activity being monitored and saved? Question: If the NSA is collecting all of our Internet activity doesn't that mean that about 30% is about Cats and pictures of Cats? I feel much safer now. Be very careful NSA, the revenge of Grumpy Cat may be coming your way.

My name is Big Entity and I want to control every aspect of your life. I want to control what you think; how you live and what you can say. It is not a question of if but when.

Since the ruling by Supremes on Citizens United, dark money is able to reach out and own our elections.

Dark money comes from both sides of the political spectrum (matter of fact, there's an article Liberal Group to Fight Dark Money…by Raising $40 Million of It) whose link id on the bottom of the article you provided. My feeling is that most political spending is wasted money.

Before you-all get your panties in a wad-- the NSA recently chose the CBS flagship news show 60 Minutes as the platform to tell everyone that what they do ( and they actually showed it ) is they match telephone numbers with those BAD people who are trying to do us harm. If someone uses the number to call the bad people a certain number of times---the telephone numbers are handed over to the CIA or FBI to take a look at. If you can SEE the 60 minute program somehow then do so. I'm SO AFRAID that this is another manufactured scandal like the IRS or Benghazi and our enemies would be SO GRATEFUL to have the NSA dismantled after keeping us from another attack for a dozen years since 911. BE very careful for what you wish for.

IN addition.....there are many checks and balances within the NSA to make certain they aren't spying on anyone via telephone or reading e-mails. If they have a collection of phone numbers, then if someone TURNS rotten in the USA......they can dig up that number and see if they were connected with the terrorists whether they are the internal ones or ones who live elsewhere.
I'm convinced the NSA is a good thing and not to be dismantled. Are we asking to go in full circle and have another attack and then say WHERE IS OUR SECURITY ???
