Noted, signed and shared. Once again, greed takes precedence over the planet and indigenous peoples. Just once, I'd like to see the right decision made for the planet.

The dominant Western mind set has no sense of what is Sacred...to most, $$ and power is sacred. The Romans took the sacred teachings, similar to Buddha's, Pythagoras' paths, and demolished them to suit their own wine imbibing, meat eating, sacrificing, land theft, rampaging power and money hungry ways and spread it throughout this hemisphere when those who followed these lies arrived upon our shores in N & S "America" and the Australian shores.

We all own this earth, no single person or group can claim it is theirs. However, mankind has decided to place borders and make us use passports. Sacred is only in the eyes of those who believe it is. That is why the other 99.9% are not interested.

Unfortunately Aboriginal peoples in Australia have suffered the same fate as First Nations peoples in the U.S. -- being decimated, ignored, discriminated against, marginalized and completely run over. Just because you have more power, doesn't mean you have the right to use it in such a manner. Reprehensible! But payback is a bear, as they will eventually find out.

I doubt if this would be allowed if it was an ancient Roman site, or cave site in Europe.

I had it pointed out to me on one of the social networking sites I post to that this company is an Australian company and not a New Zealand company. I just said thanks to the person and nothing more. There's no reason that should make a difference in this cause should it? I can't see why it would.

Who cares about sacred Aboriginal land?
Let Big Business in and destroy 'anything' they choose, for greed.

No government that believes in god and/or religion, would permit this atrocity, on religious grounds. When it comes to _pushing and shoving_, we all know who does the pushing and shoving.
