Interesting article with some very creative thinking by Chafee. This approach to funding the arts has worked well in the past, I hope he is very successful in this venture.

The article says he was a republican and is now Independent, there is a reduction in people who affiliate by party name. Those who claim the republican moniker are now at 23% and those who stand as democrats is down to 38%, with the majority now standing as Independents. They might help clean up and shake up DC.
