Stop spreading misinformation about the Affordable Care Act. Despite the fact that millions of Americans believe a single-payer solution would work better, Obamacare is a FREE MARKET approach to the health care crisis

Maybe he doesn't believe they are lies, as many supporters don't believe they are lies. But with that petition, many people have no clue what he said that was supposed to be a lie.

This 'dork' has been against the ACA from the beginning, saying that health care isn't a right. This is the reason I boycott Whole Foods.

Noted, signed and shared. I'm with Kathy B. He has been against the ACA from the beginning and as soon as he came out with his lies, I decided not to shop there. I don't shop at any store that has a nutbag for a CEO. I've had to cut loose some places I used to shop at, but it's not worth it to me to support them in any way.

...its too bad that a person who has such a nice store compared to most chain stores would be such a hard-liner on this issue that he cannot overcome his obvious bias.....however, he is not alone, its sad to hear so many that are so against it not willing to accept the positives and work to make it better....

Of all the companies to provide false information about the ACA ... Whole Foods? Not to make too much of the type of entity .. I'd be less surprised if it were a different industry ... but this is disappointing. I agree with Carlene V. -- an immediate boycott is in order.

obamacare isn't free market. the government has told insurance companies what products they will sell and what will be in them. that is not free market. no matter what you want your insurance coverage to be it will only be what obamacare says it can be. where is the free market in that?

I am not in the least surprised about this, given Mackey's deception about GMO's. Mackey is a wingnut who has claimed that WF doesn't sell GMO's when in fact it does: another disinformation campaign. Signed and noted. Thanks, Robert.

And then there is the issue of not allowing WF workers to unionize, when many have inadequate pay and benefits.

Well, so much for my support for one of my favorite grocery chain stores. He is "free marketing" himself out of business with progressives. Yeah, Obamacare does dictate the minimum standards for an insurance plan - it is about time. Too many people were being ripped off by insurance companies in their capitalistic frenzy for profit at the expense of the consumer. It appears insurance companies have gained customers with the healthcare plan.
