There is just something about the "facts are stupid things" mentality of the GOP that just does not ring true. Even at the most expensive prescritption the contraceptive pill is many times cheaper than having a baby. The whole agenda is so cynical it is a wonder that these people are not called out about it more often. This is about pure selfishness and I suspect that some do believe that Johnathan Swift's modest proposal is a good idea. Still Alaska has the highest rate of rape in the US it has one of the highest rates of Federal dollars per capita in the US, and likes to elect corrupt former beauty queens to various political offices. So really they should be making sure that birth control is readily available as a certain person's spawn is hardly a great contribution the the human gene pool.

What a short-sighted IGNORAMUS! If he can't see that unwanted children are the cause of enormous expense....he shouldn't be trusted with his OWN money...let alone that of Alaskans!

I am so sick and tired of some brainless macho men on our planet who think they know it all. But this moron is probably using Viagara paid by his insurance, and this is certainly ok with him. :-P

This knot-head needs to trade brains with the nearest turkey. He'll certainly benefit - but the turkey would probably start walking backwards.

So, I'm going to ask a stupid question. Are we really so undisciplined as humans that we CAN'T stop having sex when we're fertile? Really?! Why is it the government's or the taxpayer's job to "take care" of everyone's decisions. It don't think it's a Republican or Democratic issue. I think it's a just how much money does everyone think we have to spend on the entire world issue. And the answer's, not enough. I was very poor, but I also decided that I didn't want more kids and made the appropriate choices.

Shush! Don't tell Sarah Palin there is a war on women in Alaska. She'll pull out her machine guns and clean things up like a pit bull with lipstick. She can see Putin from there which will give her boss like courage.
