Over 1,000 chemicals registered to fight pests and pathogens are formulated into some 20,000 products. Most are for agricultural use, but a fifth are designed for nonagricultural applications--in homes and gardens, playgrounds, schools, offices and hospita

Nothing is safe these day's not even our food .Farmers use too much dangerous chemicals to try and increase their profits.I have a friend who cycles everywhere during the summer. One day while cycling along the road she was subjected to a light shower of rain or so she thought about twenty minutes later she felt a burning on her skin which turned bright red and she became very ill and had to go into hospital where she remained for several weeks. The incident was investigated by the police and the department of the environment who discovered that it was caused by a farmer several miles away by spraying insecticides on his fields which had been carried on the wind.Due to this I do not consume ready made salads bought in shops I always wash them before eating them it's much safer.

Yes and then there is the pesticide factor that is reducing the sperm count in men. How long will it be before most of us can't procreate. The Elites are dancing as it is a very profitable way to reduce surfeit population along with all these continuos wars against an unknown and unseen enemy. A global population of no more than 500 million by 2025 with 0% growth is their stated objective. Meantime, they're making huge profits out of all their vertically integrated businesses and opportunities.

There are individual restrictions per chemical spraying but there are multiple spraying of crops for insects but also for other factors, herbicides etc so you have so called safe levels of each but not a safe level of the total. Regards M J Byrne.

Very important information. Pesticides are meant to kill, so using them can be harmful to our health. Go nature and use natural homemade if you must. Thanks Cal

This was a long article, but worth the read. It is really terrifying when you realize that so many dangerous chemicals are out there in our food supply. I have a four year old granddaughter whose parents are very conscientious about what she eats, drinks, and is exposed to, but it seems there are things we cannot keep our children from being affected by.

How many studies do we need, before the majority of our people and people around the world, start to face reality?

None of us alone, can fix this problem, but, as a group we can make great inroads.
As Margaret Mead said:
'Never doubt that a small group of people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.'

May I add what I learned, while learning how to have healthy skin.
People that think they need only 5 or 6 hours of sleep, are fooling themselves. Their mind may believe this, but their body doesn't agree. When we sleep, our pores open; this is why we start to get a little chilly. When our pores open, they start breathing. This process is twofold. We breathe in (hopefully) fresh, clean oxygen and we excrete chemicals and toxins that we have taken into our bodies during our waking hours.

My lecture is over !!!

Interesting & scary.Who or what is going to make changes to move away from pesticides. The more there is talk about moving away the more it is utilised, has been ongoin for decades. It is "entrenched" in the system for the sake of greed & quick huge profit
