I'll just respond by the title......No sh*t. It's the same economics that was played out before that led us to ruin. The Gilded Age, Monopolies, that allowed great wealth to amass in the hands of a few and then led to the Great Depression because of their tactics.

It was called back then the Horse and Sparrow Economics. The horse ate all the grain and the sparrows got to pick out what came out the back end. It was full of crap then and it's been nothing but yellow pee trickling down upon us sparrows today.

This is what happens when the masses do not learn history or when the history isn't been taught the way it should be. One of the reasons that when cutting back programs besides PE, music, and art, it's the history to go. A society that doesn't know it's history is DOOMED to repeat it over and over, and so they are. The Elites NEVER forget, they recall how Grandpa made all his wealth. They hire the Intellectuals to remember that is all how it is done, so they wait for awhile, and then when the masses forget, they begin to chip away at all the protections that were put in place. Hire their lobbyist to sway the members of our Government to do it as it will be in the best interest of the Nation to do so.......BS......their personal best interest.

Vote all Republicans and tea baggers out of office in every state at every opportunity. They are ruining America.

Of course you did Dandelion, that's what you always do. Just look up the title in you search, find the right picture, and hope it's the one he had, but it's copied so much, who cares. Try:

http://theweek.com/article/index/257981/conservatives-defend-inequality-out-of-self-interest--nothing-more

Just one question, why are those countries that are highlighted in the article not have more robust economies? Oops.

Oops, look at that, it's from theweek.com

Yeah,, page not found,but:
"Trickle Down Economics" was/is the biggest lie told to the American people, starting with Saint Reagan...and not what Issa, or Inhofe was speaking about, referring to global warming.
Trickle down is the smoke screen Reagan used to feed the already overstuffed pockets of the Plutocrats, and Bush just kept it going. That is why they are the 1%.

John S. "Of course you did Dandelion, that's what you always do."

Oh really John, you are sitting right next to me monitoring exactly what I read. Or perhaps you are clairvoyant?

EVERYONE before me said they could not access the page. So I said I'd make a comment off the title as I could not access the page either. I did TRY to LOOK it up in the search engine and could ONLY find this posting. So is wonderful for you to have found it for everyone.......you didn't have to be so snarky in doing so.

Cheap shot John........really cheap.

IF there is anyone who makes all attemps to read articles before replying it's Dandelion John...so in my opinion you were not only way off base with that 'smirky' remark you put yourself into the spot light of being someone who just wants to stir up crap...not add to the conversation of opinions...which you failed to add to by not commenting on the article yourself. Look'n pretty petty and 'small' shall I say.

As for my opinion of the 'missing article' and or the title.... 'F' the GOP and the insaniTea of the Teabager rightwing nut jobs who backed/supported Bush and the demise of our nation under his administration...which took us to where we are as a nation today....in debt beyond what most of us could have ever imagined due to the GOP's corporate greed/war mongering for profits....death and destruction in the middle east, and their supporting/actions in the outsourcing of jobs...bailing out corporate America just for the profits of it while the middle class pick'd up the tab and is expected to continue to do so.

..and no , I didn't make the slightest effort to find the article after so many saying it could not be found on the link provided 'at the top of the page' ... and no...I did not go to the link provided by John S. I don't go to links posted in comment spaces by those I don't trust...and anyone that has been that 'snarky' to someone as forthcoming as Dandelion I don't trust, period.

Oh yeah, and Trickle Down was an insult to American society as a whole to begin with, i.m.o. !!

That all being said :-)...The first thing I found fault with was the title itself. There is NO SUCH THING AS CONSERVATIVE when it comes to the the GOP party for starters...i.m.o. Reagan was the first to prove that with his leaving office with the highest debt in our nations history to that point and then proven beyond all questions when Dubya and Cheney left office with the highest to that date ...a debt which increases in jjust intrest alone daily to this date , compiling debt upon debt due to those two administrations alone !
It is said that actions speak louder than words....so to me when it comes to someone saying 'Conservatives' when trying to refer to the GOP Party...... I don't think so...

Yes 'John S.' your comment in Dandelions direction did stir anger within me as I just didn't expect such coming from you....bottom line for me ...by this time on the thread...I'm no longer angry....basically I'm just disappointed in you for going in the direction with your comments that you did with ref. to Dandelion.

As John Wayne, one of the takers said, "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining." He was right about that, but not much else.

debt increase:

Reagan 186%

Bush I 55%

Clinton 37%

Bush II 86%

Obama 35%

And it must be pointed out, Obama is paying for the misdeeds of Bush Whenever it comes to economics, the right is ALWATS wrong.

Robert K. (31)

And when it comes to typing, I may not ALWATS be wrong, but sometimes I am.

I also didn't mean to say the left is always right, but they are nearly always right.
