A year and a half after the storm officials admitted at a city council hearing Monday that construction has begun on only three homes and none have been completely rebuilt.

This is why, every citizen that is able, needs to start attending their local meetings. Without actively taking part in your Government, not solely at Federal elections, but from every step locally on up, this is what happens. If you want things to improve and change, it's important to be involved. Because when YOU are not involved the criminals and the incompetents become involved.

This is the same problem the Jersey shore is having. The President and the Governor are not highly thought of in those shore towns that are still in ruins. Not one promise has been kept.

Sounds like the persons controling the purse strings thinke the money belong to them. This situation needs to be investigated Immediately and funds dispersed to benefit the people it is supposed to help.
