No one is taking climate change seriously. The consequences are going to be disastrous!

Noted. On march 31, the UN released its 5th report on climate change, each one worse than the previous one.

Do I think that governments will take measures? NO! In the US everybody still struggles with the aftermath of the 2008 financial meltdow and it doesn't help that 23% of the US population thinks that climate change is a hoax. In Europethere is no consensus on anything due to all austerity measures and massive unemployment.

And it's kind of ironic because besides the real threat that climate change poses for mankind, developing new alternatives to sustainable energy would actually create a lot of REAL jobs instead printing money and gambling on the stock exchange.

This isn't something that is going to happen - it is happening already!

"the high-tide line becoming the low-tide line and the beach will still go inland" now would be a good time to clean out hazardous waste and move terminals, fueling stations, etc inland.
